There's a mall next door? Is it any special? Believe it or not, I've never been to a Parisian mall before. I guess it wouldn't hurt to give this one a try.

Is the room not suitable for doing any work? If I get a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower, then that's better than finding a cafe nearby for a seat when I have the comfort of my room? Since you said there are restaurants, cafes, and even a mall nearby, I guess I won't starve outside breakfast and the food spread during the evening hours?

To be clear, this will be two nights out of a five-night stay in Paris. I intend to spend three nights at another hotel in Paris. Given how well reviewed the HR Etoile is, I want to spend as much time in and around the hotel. Maybe spend an hour or two hanging around the hotel.
