Six night stay April 17-22. Had stayed here in December 18 and was very pleased. This time: not so much!

I emailed the guest relations manager three times before arrival : crickets. Tried to fax but fax machine never connected.

booked an executive room and given a small comfort room….complained to no avail. Had to argue to get rate reduced.

no welcome bonus offer: invoked and received my $100 after the stay.

each morning, the lounge was out of food by 8:30 with no attempt to restock. I realize this was a holiday weekend, but poor management failed to plan ahead. I complained on the 20 th and it was a little better on subsequent mornings

Evenings were the same: if one did run to the lounge at 5:30, you were SOL!

hotel ran out of bottled water on the 18th but offer to sell me a large bottle for 10€! Lounge also ran out of Pepsi max on the 18 th for two days.

at first, thought they were just understaffed…..but always saw any, many employees, mainly standing around.

Even though the location is great, we’re back to the Reniassance in the Trocadero where we’ve stayed for many years….the other man’s grass is not always greener!
