Invest in a mobile plan that has hotspot tethering. Not that many hotels got wired ethernet anymore. If WiFi is weak, you either have to change room, go to the lobby or pool area with better WiFi, or try mobile tethering. I remember staying at The Ahwahnee many years ago at Yosemite. The WiFi at the room is almost non-existence. And of course there was 0 mobile signal up there. So everyone just go to the Grand Hall to use their laptops LOL.
