EDIT: i saw Lombok: have you visited the Tugu hotel there? A nice eclectic artistic hotel close to sengigi beach, we went prepandemic and it has a lot of character, slightly over the top and sometimes an atmosphere of spookyness. The Bali and Malang ones are quite nice too: https://tuguhotels.com
