Stayed here for 2 nights on a Hyatt Privee rate and had mixed feelings. I was given a wonderful upgrade to a suite but the welcome gift was a bowl of fruit (at the PH it was a bottle of wine). The general pool was like a Butlins holiday and was shut on the day I arrived as a kid had pooped in the pool - apparently this is a regular occurrence!

However, the adult only pool on the 14th floor was great - and quiet!

I felt I got better value form the Privee rate at the Park Hyatt than here - and the breakfast was not as good at the Andaz - the service was pretty poor actually at the breakfast servings.

The hotel appears to be all fur and no knickers (a Glasgow phrase - pretty but nothing underneath) - whereas the Park Hyatt was more refined!
