I don't think if this is a win. If you had not paid a prepaid rate, you would've gotten the points on the actual base rate. So by using the prepaid option, you lost 100 x (10+elite bonus) points.
It was a win because prepaid was the only FHR option available when I booked - I don't know why, but I tried multiple booking flows and none surfaced a postpaid option. For several reasons, I will book postpaid FHR when available. I'm still glad I did this as the $100 resort credit and free breakfast were much more valuable than base points on $100. Plus, I didn't have to waste time with customer service.
