It is one of the main requirements that the voucher holder has to fly - what would happen in extremis I don't know, but that probably doesn't include personal choice.

  1. The Companion Voucher will be issued in the name of the main British Airways American Express Card Account holder, who must travel on any Companion Voucher booking.
