Just jumping quickly here to mention that saudia is not that bad imho (flew them recently in coach), and that KSA has now no restriction whatsoever for Covid (no test needed, no vaccine needed).

Not saying I’m a fan of it (especially because of often long layovers) but still I wouldn’t call it not a great airline
