Flying from Iceland (KEF) - JFK nonstop in Aug.
only bringing carry-on and small backpack.

$405 for econ light: no seat selection), Includes carry-on and 1 personal item
$455 for regular econ: Can select seat, includes 1 checked bag (which i dont need), 1 carry-on, and 1 personal item

Is selecting a seat worth $50?
Or is it a personal choice?
