I don't think we can be so sure of this at the moment: things are not operating well at SQ. I've had major problems getting a refund processed despite several phone calls and email follow ups over a couple of months. Once I finally received a competent agent - close to 9 weeks after my initial request - I received an email confirmation of the refund the following day and funds refunded to my card the following week.
I'll bet nothing whatsoever has been done to process your refund, unfortunately.
