I had a R/T hertz reservation at HOU airport, booked on priceline via autoslash, that they just refused to honor. The (extremely rude) employee said the price was an obvious mistake and they could not give me any car for that price, the only thing they could do was charge me almost three times as much or I could go to another rental car company. Rate in the reservation was $85, was charged $220 instead.

Gotta say, I'm avoiding hertz via priceline, now. (I was iffy when all the arrest stuff came out, now I'm really gunshy).

If I'm going to pay retail, I'll book with national and at least get decent service.
