I had a two night stay at the JW last week.

Location is excellent.

Still very much felt like a Jumeirah in terms of room design, towels, etc. Not that that is a bad thing. But they really have only started the transition to a JW. For example, while they offer laundry service, they do not have printed forms because the JW ones haven't arrived yet. Also no room service menus in rooms, even though room service is offered.

As a Titanium, I was upgraded to a junior suite on a high floor. Breakfast was included, which I could either take in the first floor restaurant or as room service. I did not have breakfast either day.

Ben Schlappig, when he reviewed the property as a Jumeirah, thought the rooms were uninspired and in need of a renovation. I thought the condition of my room was perfectly fine.

One last comment, while I know it is a common thing in Germany, I was surprised that the king bed was actually two twins pushed together such that there was a gap in the middle of the bed. Each mattress had its own fitted sheet and duvet, so it really wasn't set up as a king bed. Again, I know this is common in Germany, but I was surprised to see it at a luxury hotel.
