Thanks for the breakdown. I did notice the additional 'tiers' that could be selected on LH on economy or premium with the basic, basic plus, and flex. I recall thinking it didn't make any sense because why on earth would flex be cheaper than basic. Since when did 1+1=3?

I would have thought that code shares also managing a similar pricing structure would come out on top but I guess with different revenue targets and different overall strategies, this sort of arbitrage is bound to happen. Maybe they cannot integrate more because then they might just be the same company. Speculating.
Oh well, heck of a steal imo getting 2 premium economy seats for the economy price.
