UA doesn't fly to BNE on their own metal and is unlikely to fly there for the foreseeable future with the widebody aircraft shortage due to the 777 groundings. The only exception is if Queensland Tourism (through Queensland Government funding) steps in with a negotiated subsidy package.

UA are content on leaving the BNE traffic to existing Star partner NZ as well as having new domestic connections through VA.
