Advanced Parole is nice in the sense that you get a lot less questions at immigration but your wife will likely have to go through secondary screening. Takes about 5 minutes to process with lots of form stamping and sometimes photocopying. That would hold the line too much.

She will need to go through the visitor line and will get directed to secondary screening. In DTW it is a special desk when you first go through screening. In MSP (and most other airport) you need to go to a separate area, pick a number and wait your turn.
