The day before check-in, my app told me that I got upgraded to a standard suite! When I checked in, I asked if it had a view of the Eiffel tower and sadly, it didn't. So I asked for a room with an Eiffel view and they obliged and gave me a room on the 31st floor (out of 33) with a direct and fantastic view of the tower. Although the room wasn't a suite, I'd rather get the view for a 1 night stay.

The club room was a disappointment. I went in twice... at 5 pm and 8 pm and the food and drink selections were the same. The food was actually worse than American club rooms, which are terrible. Only benefit was the free beer and wines. The bigger disappointment is there is no view of the Eiffel tower from the club room. They have a separate bar on the floor which has a fantastic view though.

Another little note... the metro isn't very close. About a 15 minute walk due to construction. We had a toddler on a stroller and walking that far and through construction wasn't a very pleasant experience.
