You can certainly redeem AA miles for First Class travel from MIA to KUL. Here's one example:



If you want to use your Chase UR points, you may be able to convert them to BA Avios, and then transfer the Avios from BA to QR. QR flies MIA-DOH and DOH-KUL. If you can find award availability, QR indicates that MIA-DOH-KUL in Business Class would cost 95,000 QR Avios. (I'm not sure how high the carrier surcharges would be on such a redemption.) If this is of interest to you, I'd suggest carefully researching the ability to transfer BA Avios to QR, and double-checking the QR redemption rate. (QR just recently adopted Avios as its frequent-flyer "currency" in place of Qmiles.) FlyerTalkers in the QR forum might be able to provide some guidance.
