Booked standard room for 2 nights for 50k pts during the past points redemption sale.

I'm (only) platinum and saw online that I was upgraded to the premium king room the day before check in.

Checked in today (Saturday May 14th) and was told that I was upgraded to the king suite with separate living room (I believe this is a 3 category upgrade). They also offered 300 baht raid the bar credit and "social hour" between 5pm to 6pm.. Free flow drinks at the pool bar.

The lobby is packed. The most lively atmosphere at a hotel since the start of covid that I've been to.

Very impressed. Definitely will be back.
