Is the catering whatever would be in Y for any international Delta flight vs whatever would be on a domestic/Mexico/Caribbean FC route? Yes, Y meal catering almost certainly be standard long-haul international Y and FC catering likely standard domestic FC catering with no pre-ordering. Certainly not worth upgrade in terms of food. If it's under $200 to upgrade, it might be worth considering for additional comfort and MQM earning (if you care about that). Domestic FC is still a good deal more pleasant than being packed should-to-should in C+ on a longer haul flight.
