I stayed at the RI Naperville for 30 days and every seven days, I got charged and my nights, points and bonus nights and bonus points (this was during the recent 1000 extra points and one extra elite night per night promotion) earned during that period all posted after that weeks charge, even though I was still at the location for a few more weeks.
That is typically a RI thing - most hotels don't or maybe after you rack up $1500 in charges - but RI def does it because they have a lot of people that stay months and don't want to get to the end snd find out their CC is denied and also to have cash flow, they charge weekly or in $1000 chunks
