Assuming you’re on the 704 your delay is around 45 minutes. In the grand scheme of things I’d be embarrassed to be complaining and seeking Avios on a delay of this length for a flight of this length, but each to their own.
Hmm, should I show up 45 minutes late for a flight and expect it to still be there, or for the airline to carry me to my destination immediately, and just give a form apology?
