I've just come off a delayed (around 1 hour) BA LHR to VIE flight and have just received from BA an email apology for the delay, which was apparently due to "operational constraints at Heathrow Airport". Is this a new thing? Don't ever remember such apology emails- at least not for a relatively short delay.
Not sure what the "operational constraints" were. Sounds a bit woolly to me......
Is this a sign of the new passenger friendly BA? Is this the Doyle charm offensive/ fightback?
