I wouldn't worry, usually long haul arrivals will get a gate.

There's a separate queue for short/rushed transfers at passport contrôle.

The outbound Cityhopper might be a bus gate but it will still be at a gate, just that you descend after scanning the boarding carte to the bus that takes you to the aircraft.
