Add on to this thread a US - Schengen connection question.
Thanks to a schedule change, a family of 4, sitting nearish the front of the plane will do a JFK-AMS-DUS with a 55 minute connection in AMS. So, we have to clear a passport control, but from what I understand it is a separate one for connecting flights. We fly hopper out of AMS. I did not realize that there are bus gates. That would seem to make it more of a challenge.
Is there anyway to know which gates are bus gates? I suspect we won't find out what gate until we arrive in AMS, so not even sure it will make a difference.
Any insight would be appreciated.
