Award ticket baggage allowance
Hi folks,

Just booked two award tickets from LIM-GYE. Since the cash fare that includes baggage allowance is crazy, I did so with Alaska miles. Slightly confused by the trip details page on LATAM since I can choose seats, but there are prompts that I can add a checked bag for USD50. Does that mean I don't get any baggage allowance? But I thought only fares that include baggage (i.e. plus and above) are eligible to choose seats for free? Appreciate any tips. Also, we do have delta gold and Alaska MVP, not sure if AA members still have any benefits at all but if so that may help.
