At times, traffic congestion between CDG and the HR can be bad. Don't underestimate how long it can take.
As Bonvoy Ambassador and WOH Glob, I've always picked the Sheraton at CDG and been very happy with the choice, although sometimes it can be expensive and their few suites seem small.. However, I haven't stayed since COVID-19, so I can't evaluate how much the lounge offerings have declined.
