Where would they seat you? Doesn't matter who owns you, who you paid, what the airline is......simply if they do not have the cabin booked then where hypothetically would they seat you.
Hypothetically they could seat you anywhere. There is no rule.
in practice they will try to get you in a seat at least as good as the one you paid for, otherwise it some change agreed with you or EU 261 compensation (for eligible flights)
