You will be unlikely to be able to get there - security at T5 in the mornings can take 30 minutes or so. Make sure you have all your liquids, including the wash kit if you bring it, in a clear plastic bag and that electronics larger than a phone are out. We just ended up switching to a later connection (LHR-BER) so we can actually enjoy CCR, and am so glad now that we did. We're arriving on the A380, so assuming what
@Krisz; said, if we land at C gates, we'll still have ample time to get to CCR and relax for 1-2 hours before heading to A gates. We both have Canadian passports, and I believe they'll work with the e-gates so in case the other lineup is longer (or we decide to go landside to meet a few friends quickly outside the airport), we can use these gates to gain entry.
All in all, super pumped for the trip now, and thank to everyone for sharing their tips and suggestions.
@Radiation-Station;: Not sure if its an option for you, but if you really want to enjoy CCR, can you get a later connection to BRU? Less stress around playing with MCT as well
