No it won't. You might end up seeing the charge coming as 'POI funding' and depending on the bank, it might be treated as cash advance, with all the consequences for you.

Unless one decides to use NFP for manufactured spending and finds a way to do, I personally would not bother if it is just for bus/mrt.

P.S. Side note - for Chase cards you can lower cash advance limit to $100. Send them a message via portal and they will do it.
