While the only option currently is to book two awards, the routing does not necessarily need to be via the USA -- or even via North America. Routings via YVR, Europe, or the Middle East (EZE-GRU on BA, GRU-DOH or QR) might be possible, subject to availability. Total cost in miles will vary, depending on specific routing.

Of course, with two awards, the OP could -- if desired -- have a stopover at the intermediate point.
