Not exactly. A M fare on DL earns 100% MQMs vs 150% on AF. If both AF and DL have M fares available at the same price, it makes sense to book the AF marketed flight.

Tier 1 (Core Global Partners) flights have always earned the minimum 500 MQM. A CDG-GVA roundtrip, for example, earns 1000 MQM.
