But! I wanted to complain about PPT. Got denied 2x, once in 2017 and once last month 4/2022. I understood in 2017 the lounge was almost full with about 35-40 people. However, last month there were literally 2 people in the lounge and we got denied, not 200 people, not 20 people because of covid but literally just 2 people. When I asked why, counter rep said that they were expecting the lounge to be full with business and first class from all of the flights that night. Wife and I sat at the take away snack bar downstairs and I counted 6 people walk upstairs to use the lounge in the 2 hours before our flight. The PP / Air Tahiti lounge is the only place with seating in A/C in the entire airport after security. Tahiti is a hot country, its just so uncomfortable to sit in heat before boarding! Thank god I brought a portable fan.
