There is a backlog at AMS, as I understand it, but that apart, the next stage can sometimes be rather quick, so you go from the screen above to someone knocking on your door within a few hours. But tomorrow is probably more realistic.
Just to update, received a mail from Aviapartners (the local baggage handling company at AMS for BA). I had to fill in a
Declaration form hold baggage for the dutch customs (douane). As a sidenote, the form was attached to the mail with the filename
"Douane Formulier New (6) (1) (1) (1) (3) (2) (2) (1) (4) (1) (1).pdf" , looked like it was scanned in more than once and could also be faxed. A real 2022 experience.
