Other bonuses aside, my incentive for flying this year should not have been to re-qualify for SE, it should be to earn a banked year of SE and/or get closer to xMM.
Otherwise I could just spend my way to SE on the ground and/or spend money with other carriers with the same net effect.
I'm glad that they explained the rules for this new game almost halfway through the year.
