From what I understand, airline crew flying on other airlines gets a great discount or flies for free - that’s where the reciprocal gifting comes in.
I know that if crews are working big holidays people will gift them something like Starbucks cards. That’s a neat idea, it’s like buying them a coffee for working the holiday.
Another great idea is taking the time to send in a compliment to their company. Everyone wants to be recognized for good service, right?
Gosh… Only in America - This just shows how big the gap is between the US and the rest of the world. Please do keep your tipping habits on the US side of the world!
