Big question I have, considering that the clubcard is supposedly a reward system for customer loyalty, am I being naive thinking that any straight and up-front feedback along the lines of "more bonuses please" would be taken positively?
Without this feedback Tesco's loss leading promotions will probably continue along the lines of the FT unfriendly 'two for the price of one' deals. What do you think?
Yes I think that they will. We have seen a big decline in the bonus points offers over the last 12 months, as more people are starting to play the game.
On another note, I was in my local Tesco tonight, a store that has a Bulk Buying policy and I noticed a cage bu cust services desk, half loaded with value baked beans. I read the had writen note that said 360 cans of Value Baked Beans for XXXXXXX Cafe picking up tonight, so it seems that Tesco has a selective bulk buying policy and not an overall bulk buying policy.
