Someone PM'd me last week. There is another benefit that had not occured to me: A passenger had taken a quick photo just before packing, bags did arrive safely, got to their hotel. After a few days the passenger couldn't find an item and was beginning to suspect the hotel housekeeping had been light-fingered. Then they remembered the photo, and as it happened they had simply forgotten to pack the item concerned. But it was quite a relief not to be worrying about the matter for the rest of their stay. Obviously the photo can also be used to check everything gets packed again for the return.
