Maybe a more general question for the TP runs thread, but for multi-leg runs like this where you actually want to stop over for a bit, wouldn't it be more cost effective per TP to structure as a BAH from one of the U.K. regional airports (eg INV?) and just make sure you've got it spread over at least 5 nights with hotels wherever you are that night? At least while the double TPs promotion is still running...
Or is that too much of a logistical challenge (or will the flights not price similarly as a package)?
I've a BAH trip booked to New York in September and I did have a second to YUL, but BA cancelled the outbound flight so that gave me the chance to look at options again.
This trip came in at a much lower price and I also get to fly First back on the return leg so I cancelled the YUL trip and will pack more shorts and sunscreen...!
