Very, very many thanks for all these suggestions, the HGI at OTP has been duly booked.

I’ve looked up some of the resorts and hotels and they look fantastic. A couple had no availability so someone is going there despite the heat.

The main purpose of the trip is to renew gold so tourism is very much a secondary event but a few days relaxing in a nice hotel beside the pool (until the heat drives me inside) will still be fun.

I’m grateful for all the suggestions.
