Thanks KARFA - really helpful! Could we got out to AMS on KLM (cheapest flight) then go back on BA? I guess terminals could be an issue. Also - do you know if you can have a stopover in London before getting on the connecting longhaul flight? I read you are allowed up to 48 hours...
