Current T5 queueing situation

Firstly, sincere apologies because I have an awful feeling I'm starting a duplicate thread, but I've been back several weeks and can't find anything relevant.

It's well known that there have been times over the last few months when T5 has struggled badly to deal with passenger flows, largely due to significant staff shortages and sickness. I also remember that Saturdays around late morning/lunch time were some of the worst-affected times, with people being unable to enter the building when it was really bad.

I have my first long-haul flight in over two years coming up later in the week, and yes, it's an early afternoon departure from T5 on Saturday. I know that there are many variables that make asking "how long will the queues be?" very much like asking "how long is a piece of string?", all it takes it one IT meltdown. But as a general rule of thumb, is it fair to infer from the lack of recent postings on the subject here that checking in on a Saturday late morning is smoother than it was a couple of months ago? It's a USA flight, and we'll have the option to use business class desks thanks to status if this will make any difference.
