Just like any other airline, Wizzair do get delays. Just like many other airlines they send emails to registered passengers to advise of delays. In that email Wizzair sets out compensation levels for the length of delay and flight. So expecting some meal vouchers at Malaga for a 2.5 hour delayed flight, I was told at check-in emphatically that the flight was only 1.5 hours late (and so no vouchers would be provided). I showed them the email from Wizzair and they admitted that they were told by Wizzair to tell passengers that the flight had a shorter delay so as to avoid handing out vouchers. Shocking and deceitful...... As if the saving on a few vouchers can offset the repetitional damage of lies and deceit. (Although given the number of delays with Wizzair flights, perhaps the vouchers would be a considerable cost). Wizzair is not on my preferred list of LCCs moving forward
