@kaizen7, St Regis is not that bad with great location if you lower you expectation a bit, this applies to The Athenee too although St Regis location is better, both have luxury feel great rooms even with entry level room.

@newfbc, I would choose Marriott Surawongse, JW and Le Meridien or even St Regis, SGS is also in excellent location albeit room is old but more than acceptable, I won’t come back until it resumes Rossini’s executive breakfast, I had one night stay at SGS 6 weeks go and not so impressive, prior to Covid SGS is my go to hotel in Bangkok.

Just avoid both Marquis and W.
