I'm of the believe that since you can't beat em, join em. When I did a free trial back in 2018 I thought this was a cool add on, but not worth the price. But now, in the current disaster of TSA and everybody and their service animal having Precheck, Clear has saved my behind a couple of times, and saved me lots of time other times. I have had a couple of flights out of MSY that I straight up would have missed had it not been for Clear. At my home airport of IAH, it's generally pretty useful in C when flying UA. It's either worth its weight in gold - or utterly useless at A, depending on day and time of day. But hey it's a zero cost option at this point.
