Great to see that I was indeed right and for the D1 clubs to come to fruition.
It was just gossip at that point. I'm glad its coming true, but there's such gossip all the time. I can't tell you how often I hear YYZ staff state "we're going to be getting a club." (DL is only airline without a lounge for access at YYZ)
