Here some pictures of our Easter stay in April (4 nights reward). Paid upgrade to Club lounge €150 per day (night) was worth it. Lounge as described by @DonPedro. Personal service and food and drink availability excellent even during times of high occupancy such as breakfast. Real luxury experience.
Room at Capucines wing second floor view to court. Small room, but fully equipped and renovated. Bathtub with shower. Probably not an upgrade but the hotel was full as we heard from discussions of Front Desk staff with other guests. For us not worth to complain, we do not stay in the room when in Paris except at night time or for a short rest and know the views from rooms in all wings from past stays. Welcome present a full bottle of Castelnau Champagne (first time I got a full bottle of Champagne as Amb at LG, we got red wine in the past) and Petits Sables shortbreads in metal box. Bar and Le Verriere restaurant closed, so no coupon for drinks this time. Valet car parking 40 Euros per night. Staff attentive. Check-in professional and polite. Overall I would describe the stay as luxury experience. Le Grand is our IHG choice in Paris. Kimpton opposite of LG may be a good choice for people who like luxury boutique hotels, maybe we try one time.
