My only concern is that the return leg is the start of a ticket to LAX, so will need to have the approval of BA to get the boarding pass for that CDG-LHR leg. There was mention above that BA have got stricter about issuing paper BP for remote stations, so may struggle to get a paper BP at LHR for the return from CDG. I've booked a test for LHR T5 at 9AM on Sunday morning, with results expected in 90 minutes max. So I would hope to have Verifly approval sometime on Sunday for the USA destination before the 16:45 local first leg (of main ticket) departure from CDG.

Does this sound feasible to the more experienced here, and is CDG on the system that allows online check-in (Fly?). I could just switch to a Saturday flight, move the test and get a hotel in CDG for the night, but that feels like a waste of time, money and effort.

As best I can tell the success depends on

1. BA continue in CDG T2A, and
2. that I can get the CDG-LHR boarding pass either at LHR, or online.

Any thoughts or advice.
Doing this trip in 2 weeks, flight is still showing as CDG 2A for me.

It took more time and was more stressful than I anticipated due to all the checks in CDG, plus online boarding pass wouldn’t issue and I couldn’t get anyone to issue me a boarding card in LHR (tried First Wing and CCR).

The AA lounge closes promptly at 3pm if that factors into your timing.

B2B might be doable, but it may not be enjoyable!
How long is more time? Currently we have 1 hr 15 mins from landing to take off so sounds like its tight but doable?

Thanks also to becks1 .

salut0 Your report did encourage me to do this, but I’m reasonable cautious on the way out so will use an Avios flight I’d booked for the day before as a precaution. On my return later in April I’ll try the B2B if nothing else has changed, on the homebound I don’t much care about missing a flight.
Have you done your B2B on the way home yet? If so, how'd you get on (and how long was the connection)?
