Outbound uneventful

On the return - i was in 9F - 1st on list with full F class...was happy with poor man's F class with seat empty. Got notification upon boarding that seat was move to 8F - asked gate agent why? she said she wanted to sell the seats to a couple and pushed me to 8F (no open middle seat). No page execpt for phone notification. Got on board - seat changes should be notified to pax...not just pushing around. Then sat down....then another notification to 1C - the GA came on and said she should have said to hold tight - you got the upgrade originally...not sure if thats covering but happy in the end i guess.....
