Folks, here's my dilema. I'm returning on Sunday (as is everyone else..!), but I have two flights to pick from. Here's the availability, as per the AMEX tool:
11:00 am A7 D7 Z7 Y3 H0 K0 N0 B0 V0 U0 Q0 I0 S0 W0
12:20 pm A0 D0 Z0 Y1 H0 K0 N0 B0 V0 U0 Q0 I0 S0 W0
I have confirmed a reservation on the 12:20 pm flight. While I don't think I have any issues, I have an "absolute must" meeting next Monday (read: attend the meeting, or else - actually, there's no else

) I just can't afford a bump, since there's only one connecting flight out of IAH.
I called CO, and they said that the 11:00 am flight is sold out as well - contrary to what I see per the AMEX tool. The CO rep told me that the odds of me being bumped are slim, but she wouldn't discount that. (I have a B class fare, confirmed seat, and am Silver).
If there's even a ghost of a chance of not being able to snag a seat on either of the flights, I'd rather cancel the ticket. Any ideas if the situation is indeed as dire as CO is making it to be (or I'm making it to be)?
