Out of idle curiosity, I'd be interested in the numbers.

Just from some quick googling, looks like 2010 Continental was running about 375 flights per day from EWR. Post-merger United has peaked at around 430 or so. Curious what the breakdown of domestic::international and mainline::regional is on those stats. I'm sure it's shifted somewhat but from a purely self-interested point of view, I'm eternally grateful for the strong domestic network from EWR. Gets me everywhere I have to go for business travel, without connecting.
